IELTS Test day information

Please note:

  • The entry to the building is limited to the public after business hours. Please wait outside until our assistant comes and opens the door with the access card. Our assistant will also help you with the elevator access. 

  • Do not bring any valuables to your test. Please note that SOS International Groups assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

  • Children and pets are not permitted in the test areas.

  • If you are late you will not be able to take the test and there will be no refund or cancellations for the missed test. We encourage you to arrive early.

What you must bring:

  • A valid passport or Canadian Permanent Resident Card

  • Be sure to bring the original and exact the SAME passport or Permanent Residence Card you used to apply on your test day. If you do not have the ID you registered with, you will not be allowed to take the test.

  • To follow the Alberta Health Service's health guidelines during the time of the pandemic, you should bring your own non-medical mask.

What's prohobited in the test room:

  • Taking off your mask during the test is not allowed.

  • All cell phones and other electronic devices will be collected and stored in a secure area and returned to you after the test. Any candidate who retains these in their possession will be disqualified.

  • You will be asked to place any of your personal belongings including coats, bags, hats, scarves, watches, etc., outside the test room.

What's permitted in the test room:

  • A transparent bottle of water with no label

  • Reading glasses if needed, with no case

  • Any other personal belongings will not be permitted in the test room.
