What is IELTS?
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of people who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
In Canada, IELTS is used as a measure of English language proficiency for citizenship, permanent residence applications, immigrations, skilled worker applications, university/college entrance requirements, master's degree programs, and other professional designations,
SOS International off-site test venue provides computer-delivered IELTS. It's the same IELTS test you know but delivered by computer, with multiple test sessions a day and faster results. You will take the Listening, Reading and Writing sections using a computer. The Speaking test will remain face-to-face. All other aspects of the test are identical, whether it is taken on paper or on computer.
Why Computer-delivered IELTS?

Results for paper-based IELTS are available 13 days after the test, but for computer-delivered IELTS, it only takes 5-7 days. Although the test will be taken on a computer, all other aspects of the test are identical to the paper-based IELTS, including Speaking test delivery (face-to-face).

SOS Calgary's off-site test venue is freshly renovated in 2021 and provides a brand-new computer with high-quality audio and the fastest internet network. Located in the office building, candidates will find a comfortable, quiet space ideal for the test.

ACCESS
Located in the heart of downtown Calgary, the testing venue is easily accessed by public transportation. Our computer lab accommodates up to 12 candidates at a time and test sessions are available three times a day - during the weekends and on selected weekdays.
SAME DAY
SPEAKING
The Speaking test will remain as a face-to-face interview with a trained IELTS Examiner. At our centre, all Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections are delivered on the same day.
